These lovely bracelets are made by Maasai tribeswomen for the Leakey Collection, Fair Trade designers of Zulugrass bracelets/necklaces. Each bracelet is a 27" strand, made of eco-friendly dyed African grass strung with Czech glass beads on elastic that is so strong it was used in the Spiderman movie. Each strand has a small silver plated charm that has special meaning. You can wear the Zulugrass strand as a hair tie or anklet if you prefer. These items are made in "Nomadic factories" (the Maasai lifestyle is not interrupted) and help to contribute to the economy, for feeding and education of their children.
